The Insight Tutor / Mentor Program’s mission is to provide educational and social support to low income elementary school children. We are able to accomplish this thanks to our adult volunteers who share their knowledge and experience by assisting the students with academic and personal development. Insight is celebrating its 24th year and, for several years now, has joined with HighSight to help students make a positive transition to high school.
The proceeds from this event help underwrite the Insight program as well as raise funds for the Father Sebastian Lewis Scholarship Fund, providing scholarships for Insight students to attend private high schools.
The 2010 Fall Fling is dedicated to all the Insight volunteers who have been involved with the program for more than two decades. Their dedication has been inspiring. Please attend the 2010 Fall Fling to celebrate with the volunteers, both past and present, who have made such a powerful impact on so many young people in Chicago.
