We have a mission: A Special Wish, Chicago is an organization dedicated to granting wishes of children from birth to age 21 in the Chicagoland area with life threatening conditions. Because our Chicago office is 100% volunteer based,with no "brick and mortar" office, nearly 100% of your contribution will go directly to making a child's wish come true. Headquartered in Columbus, OH ASW has been brightening the lives of children and their families since 1982. Our mailing list remains confidential and we do not circulate your name to any other organization. Also, we do not solicit by phone and we do not employ the services of telemarketers or paid fundraisers. We host fundraisers and different events to enable us to grant our wishes. These funds combined with the generous donations of our community allow us to do this!

Drinks For Dreams

A Special Wish Foundation, Chicago Chapter, will be hosting “Drinks for Dreams” on October 8th at State Restaurant in Lincoln Park. In addition to offering guests food and beverages, we will be hosting a silent auction and raffle.
A Special Wish is an organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life threatening disorders. We grant wishes to children in the Chicago area, from birth to age 21.
Our chapter has an all volunteer staff ~ no paid employees. Many of us work full time and do volunteer work on our own time. Our chapter receives no financial support from our national headquarters and we do not telephone solicit cash donations. We raise money through fundraising events, such as this silent auction. Nearly 90% of each dollar we raise goes directly to granting the wishes of children.
