No Wooden Nickels' mission is to provide indirect expense assistance to low-income cancer in active treatment.
No Wooden Nickels began in 2005 in an effort to address the overwhelming lack of financial resources available to low-income cancer patients. NWN is the only organization of its kind devoted exclusively to providing indirect expense assistance to low-income cancer patients.
For five years NWN has been serving the community providing critical expense assistance through out the State of Illinois.
All cancer groups are served along with our Share & Adopt and Family and scholarship programs for applicants and/or their dependants.
