Believe in Kids Annual Dinner
Event Information
Co-chairs Jack Greenberg, chair of Western Union, and John Walter, chair and CEO of Ashlin Management Group, will host the 2010 Believe in Kids Dinner at the W Hotel, City Center, on Thursday, April 15, at 6:00. We’re planning a special evening of camaraderie, music, and entertainment to support the kids.
We’re also taking this opportunity to pay tribute to the founding partners of CYC’s College & Career Readiness (CCR) programming—the Illinois Tool Works Foundation and the Stanley & Sylvia Stroup Family Foundation. Their CCR centers in Bronzeville and South Shore and the Stroup grant for student support at Northern Illinois University are helping first-generation students make it to and through college.
Location
W Hotel City Center, Grand Ballroom
172 West Adams Street
Chicago, IL, 60603
About Organization
Chicago Youth Centers (CYC) was founded in 1956 by visionaries Sidney Epstein and Elliott Donnelley. CYC is dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children and teens through a variety of innovative and effective programs that help them build the academic, social, and emotional well-being competencies and achievements needed to be successful - from early childhood education to and through college.
Chicago Youth Centers' College and Career Readiness services provide educational support and career exposure to help youth access and succeed in college. CYC's five decades of experience has shown that at-risk children will succeed - if only given the chance. Your generosity is helping to provide that chance.
