Raise a glass with the Young Visionaries Board of the Hadley School for the Blind at our first annual wine tasting!

Enjoy honing your wine palate with the Young Visionaries, while sampling a variety of wine and snacking on wine pairings. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. All bottles and items at Wine Styles will be on sale at the event, with proceeds benefiting the Hadley School for the Blind.

Wine Styles is conveniently located in downtown Evanston. There is metered parking on Sherman and neighboring cross streets and a large parking garage on Maple and Clark 2 blocks west. The Davis street CTA Purple line (transfer from the Red line at Howard to the Purple) and Davis Metra Union Pacific North line (runs from Ogilvie to Kenosha) stop are both within close walking distance (2-3 blocks).

About Organization

The Young Visionaries are a group of young adults and community leaders in their twenties and thirties who play a distinctive role in educating the community about Hadley’s mission, blindness and vision impairment. Created in February, 2007, the group is experiencing impressive growth and enthusiasm.

In 2008, the Visionaries participated in Hadley's graduation ceremony in June, held a "glow ball" night golf event in July, and organized a fund and friend-raiser at Casey Moran's Tavern in Chicago.

2010 events include a Wine Tasting in February, Whirlyball in the spring, and Glow Golf in the summer.
