Friends of Chicago Animal and Control supports the efforts of Chicago Animal Care and Control in its humane efforts to find homes for animals rescued from harmful situations, as well as homeless animals in the city's custody. This organization helps improve the lives of an estimated 24,000 animals taken in by Chicago's city shelter at 2741 S. Western Avenue each year.
