Local in service but national in voice, we achieve our mission in three ways:
1. We provided trusted tax and financial counseling, giving families the tools to make sound choices.
2. We lead a national coalition of organizations that provide economic progress for low-wage workers and their families.
3. We advance policies and practices to create a financial system that works for all.

The Center for Economic Progress will celebrate 20 years of helping hard-working, low-income families move from financial uncertainty to financial security.
To commemorate this milestone, we are hosting a one-of-a-kind celebration at the Tiffany Celebration Garden in Chicago's Grant Park. Surrounded by colorful blooms, hanging vines and shaped evergreens, the garden highlights views of the city's most beloved treasures: Buckingham Fountain, Lake Michigan and the Museum Campus.
