College Bound Opportunities is a 501(c)(3) organization offering a life-altering program for District 113 (Deerfield and Highland Park) students to help them navigate the college application process and college experience. Since its founding in 2006 by local community members, CBO has created an extensive support system for its students, and increased their chance of success in college and beyond.

Starting in March 2005, CBO has used an approach that factors individual needs of each student while also recognizing the common obstacles that low income students face in the college application process. Students are admitted to the program within their Junior year of high school, and remain within the program until their college graduation. Through one-on-one coaching and group classes, students learn to deal with the difficulties of high school life as well as prepare for the social, financial, and emotional issues that they will face in college.

CBO is a community organization with proven success.
